V-Beam® is a laser treatment effective in reducing the appearance of rosacea, scars, broken capillaries, bruising, red birthmarks, port wine stains or any skin condition related to blood vessels. It is known as a Vascular Laser.
The V-Beam® is one of the safest laser treatments available. The laser uses micro-pulses to heat the blood in the underlying blood vessels of the area being treated. This causes the blood vessels to narrow which reduces the appearance of redness on the surface of the skin. It’s all done without damaging the surrounding skin cells.
The procedure requires no anesthesia and no downtime.
V-Beam® can yield dramatic improvements, however; a series of three to five treatments are typically recommended to achieve optimum results. Patients with port wine stains may require additional treatments. This procedure is generally not covered by insurance.
